“The Tobacco Pandemic”

“We were hired by Porter Novelli Public Relations to consult on and produce all of the videos for the American Cancer Society international tobacco control conference in July 2006. We consulted on the overall look and feel of the hour and a half show, and were also in charge of producing three video pieces for the event. A video we produced on the “Tobacco Pandemic” opened the conference held at the Washington, DC Convention Center. DVDs were given out to all 5000 in attendance and will be used as an educational tool throughout the world. The ten-minute video featured a powerful interview with former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, as he recalled what it was like being a pioneer in the tobacco control movement in the U.S. Other videos we produced for the conference included a piece on the science of addiction and a taped message from the Prime Minister of Ireland, Bertie Ahern. The show was hosted by CNN’s Larry King and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.”
