Beckstein Productions Produces “Rays of Hope” Video for National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship
July 2006Beckstein Productions was chosen in January 2006 to produce a 20th anniversary video for the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, honoring 20 individuals who have contributed to the cancer survivorship movement over the years. The video was the centerpiece of the NCCS 2006 “Ray of Hope” Gala in Washington, DC, on April 26.
Beckstein was responsible for all aspects of the production, including research, writing, shooting, and editing. The interviews were conducted on location throughout the country. Among those profiled for the video were General Norman Schwarzkopf, Olympic Gold Medalist, Scott Hamilton, Television Anchor, Katie Couric, and Senator Jay Rockefeller.
Each “Ray of Hope” profiled in the video helped to tell the story of the National Coalition of Cancer Survivorship and the organization’s 20-year history.
